Dr. Anil Kakodkar is a renowned Indian nuclear scientist, former chairman of the Atomic Energy Board of India and former chief officer of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.He was the Director of Homibhabha Atomic Research Centre.During the National Democratic Alliance government in the year 1998 in Pokhran, Dr. Kakodkar was the chief. Dr. Kakodkar is still working today to bring about the necessary changes in the education sector in India.

Lieutenant General (DR) D. B. Shekatkar is a retired Indian army officer. He was commissioned on 30 June 1963 into the Maratha Light Infantry. He is the president of Bhonsala Military School, Nashik.
The Shekatkar Committee was formed in 2015 by the then Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar. The Committee was chaired by Lieutenant General D. B. Shekatkar (Retd.).
